About The Book
If you love baking, especially sweets, then this book is for you. For as long as I can remember I’ve been dairy free and this book originally started out that way. In 2015, I learned I was gluten, nut, and sorghum flour free.
This spiral-bound recipe book contains 50 Delicious gluten, dairy, sorghum flour, and nut free recipes to “Safely“ satisfy families everyday. Plus, tips and tricks throughout.
This made it difficult to enjoy any baked goods, especially since a lot of store bought flours and desserts are made with sorghum flour. Not to mention all the nut-based flours used today.
Besides, I’d been baking from scratch my whole life and wasn’t ready to give it up. Between the relaxation it gave me and my love of sweets, I decided to try and convert my favorite recipes. How hard could it be, right? After all, I was a baker at different restaurants. Plus, owned a restaurant with my son. He cooked, I baked.
Unlike cooking, baking is a science. If you don’t get the combination of ingredients right, the end result is not that great. But you don’t have to worry about that because I give you the exact measurements and instructions to follow along.
I couldn’t begin to tell you about all the mistakes I’ve made and food I’ve wasted. You get to learn through my mistakes and will find hints and stories about a few of these throughout the book.
A while back I was on a business trip and brought with me a new batch of gluten, dairy-free peanut butter cookies. By the end of that trip I was all broken out from the peanut butter. Little did I know, I would have issues with nuts as well. Hence, the nut-free recipes.

About the author.
Robin G Coles has been baking from scratch since she was a little girl. When she’s not in the kitchen baking or traveling, Robin writes a variety of articles about boating and technical documents such as user guides, SOPs, and operation manuals.
She lives in the Boston area where she enjoys reading, crocheting shawls for 4-to-6 year olds in the cancer wards, exploring neighborhoods on foot, or being out on a sailboat.
